In my latest interview I’m joined by director John Maclean, who helmed one of the best films of last year, Slow West. We talked about the jump from short films to feature films and what his experience was during the making of his first feature film.
We also discuss his budding relationship with Michael Fassbender, who he collaborated on Slow West with and two other short films Pitch Black Heist and Man on a Motorcycle.
Finally we talked about his days working at the Cameo theater in Scotland (which is one of Quentin Tarantino’s favorite theaters and John’s advice to budding filmmakers. Make sure to check out Slow West if you already haven’t and follow John on Twitter @johnbetamac
