We were invited to a special sneak preview of some of the new innovative toys and technology being released on September 1, 2017 for the global Force Friday II celebration. For Force Friday II, fans can download the official Star Wars app and experience a see a special augmented reality over the skies of some global landmarks, including the CN Tower!

Once the app is downloaded, fans can visit one of 20,000 participating retail locations to find a graphic that contains the Find the Force logo. When you scan the graphic using the Star Wars App, you’ll reveal a character, who through augmented reality, will appear in the room with you. You can then take photos, record videos, and share the experience on social media.

And if you share photos featuring the new characters on Twitter or Instagram using #FindtheForce and #Sweepstakes between Sept 1-3, you’ll be entered into a global contest to win tickets to the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi! For more information on Force Friday II, visit www.starwars.com/findtheforce.

At Fan Expo Canada 2017, got an early look at some of the amazing products that can be purchased. Some highlights include Sphero’s new app-enabled R2-D2 and BB-9E droids, Star Wars Battle Drones by Propel, and some really cool new LEGO sets. Other products include Poe Dameron Electronic X-Wing Pilot Helmet that features surround sound speaker systems and a Droid inventor kit by littleBits.
